Luca Nichetto was born in 1976 in Venice. He graduated in industrial design at the University of Architecture and Design in Venice (IUAV) in 1998.
Nichetto began his professional career in 1999 when designed his first object for Salviati. Later he became a product designer and consultant for Foscarini lighting. In 2006 he founded his practice in Venice, and in 2011 opened a studio in Stockholm, too.
One of the most interesting Italian designers, Nichetto has served as art director for many international design brands, lectured in design universities and sat in the jury for varied international design competitions.
Nichetto’s works have been exhibited worldwide and awarded for the innovative approach across the design discipline (furniture, accessories, architecture and exhibition design).
