SALVIATI X KENGO KUMA

"dieXe" chandelier and "Collezione Zero"

The collaboration between Salviati and Kengo Kuma is the result of a meeting of cultures, techniques, and experimentation, taking shape in the beating heart of the company: the glass furnace.A place where time stands still, where history dictates the production processes, and where fire transforms sand into molten glass—an extraordinary raw material capable of adapting to shapes, tools, and ideas.

In this living and timeless space, the Murano glassmaking tradition intertwines with the vision and philosophy of Japanese architect Kengo Kuma. A creative dialogue of continuous and constructive exchange, a shared exploration of natural materials and pure forms, both shaped by an extraordinary source of inspiration: Venice.

From the encounter between Kuma’s genius, the craftsmanship of master glassmakers, and the innovative spirit of the Salviati team, two extraordinary projects were born: the “dieXe” chandelier and the “Collezione Zero.”
