Born in Venice in 1961, Norberto Moretti studied Fine Arts and started working in Murano at Alfredo Barbini’s furnace in 1977.
In 1982 he started his training as a decorator at the Guglielmo Sent workshop, first, and S.A.L.I.R., later, where he learned a range of techniques including enamel and gold leaf.
In 1992 he set up his own workshop to make objects that represent his aesthetics at best: very contemporary design inspired by tradition, pure shapes that reveal timeless elegance and gestures of ancient craftsmanship.
Norberto started working with Salviati in 2003, creating objects and decorations that harmonise his style with the company’s heritage.
